Your Cake Baker Party Cake Policies
All products may use or have come into contact with peanuts, tree nuts, soybean derivatives, eggs, wheat gluten, milk, and other allergens.
We require 50% deposit on all cake orders of $100 or greater. Any order taken over the telephone without a store visit requires a 50% deposit on a credit card and will be transacted at time of order.
Party Cake orders over $200 must include a signed contract with specific cancellation and refund terms. Please see your order copy.
Orders over $100 cancelled with less than 3 days notice will not receive refund of deposit.
Full payment is required prior to delivery on any order where delivery is requested. In the event we cannot deliver as requested, through no fault of our own, a minimum $15 re-delivery fee will apply.
We will always make a “best effort” to contact you for design clarification or acceptance when a design change is needed. Please give us a phone number where we can actually reach you.
We strive to decorate the exact cake design you want. We do reserve the right to use creative license where we feel necessary in order to maintain the quality of our product and designs.
Once a cake has been picked up by you or a designated party it is considered “accepted”. Refunds requested due to decorating style, color shade choice or general decoration design will not be honored.
Cake flavor and texture is subjective. Refunds requested due to flavor or texture after cake has been accepted and picked up are only offered if the product is brought back to us and the quality of the cake flavor or texture is determined not to meet our standards. Quality determination is at the discretion and sole decision of Your Cake Baker, Inc.

Monday-Friday, 8am to 6pm
Saturdays, 8am to 4pm
Closed on Sundays and all national holidays
All after hours arrangements to pick up your cake will result in a minimum $20.00 service fee.
All products are the customer’s responsibility upon leaving the store. Cake and icing are very fragile and not very stable. If you drive...
- corners or speed bumps too fast
- leave cake in your 120 degree car while shopping
- slam on the brakes because someone cuts you off
- put your cake on a crooked seat
- hold your cake tilted on your lap
...we are not responsible for the damage to your cake. Cake cannot be expected to hold up in those conditions, (if you come back to the store with a damaged cake and you say you were just driving normally and your cake just fell apart...sorry, but we have delivered thousands of cakes and know what a cake can and cannot take).
If you bring the cake back to us so we can repair it, you will incur a minimum $20 repair charge. Depending on the extent of the damage, the original cake may not be suitable for repairs and may need to be replaced. In such instances, additional charges will apply.
We will do our best to create your cake to match the picture that you have provided, but remember that YCB did not decorate the cake in the picture you provided. We have our own style, method and skills.
Color samples emailed can vary from computer to computer. If you are in need of an exact color match, it is best that you provide us a color sample in person that we attach to your order for reference.
Any refunds are given as store credit or by check. Method of refund is at the sole discretion of Your Cake Baker, Inc.
